KM3035 many pages instead of 1 page

1 of our customers called up saying their KM3035 was print 10 or more sets of each page instead of 10 or more sets of each job.

1 person I spoke with said it also did it on a Windows test page.

I thought maybe it was a setting when getting ready to print PDFs but then they said it did it on the Windows test page too.

I'm waiting to hear if maybe something changed with the PCs operating system perhaps. They have had the machines for quite awhile.

Install the drivers again, sometimes the windows update screws eith the printing queue

Corrupt spooler print job...?


You may like to try resetting the print spooler directory on the offending PC.
Example:
Net Stop spooler
Del C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS\*.*
Net Start spooler.


You could try running the del spooler batch file from this old post....

Could it be as simple as the driver set to default to quantity (11)? It was fun (and easy) for the high school kids to default the HP printers to (50) prints of each print job. =^..^=

I've seen this before with an incorrect print driver.

IT person just renamed a konica print driver to kyocera because the IP was the same as machine was being replaced.

Test page would work fine and only print 1 page, any other print job would spit out 10 sets.

The industry doesn't exactly help.

"KM" can either stand for "Konica Minolta" or "Kyocera Mita", making it easy to mess things up.

We used to carry both, at the same time, and we had lazy people (in all departments) freely toss the term "KM" about. It caused all sorts of wonderful jokes.
