    Copy star C307ci error 3101

    I set scan to email up all the time, just did one of these last thursday, but today im getting this send failure 3101 check sender,receiver authentication protocol 's
    ?? any ideas? these are brand new machines, is there something i need to turn on? or off? (I have the smtp on duh)

      Check port. IE 25, 465 586 or other
      Also does the email account require ssl or tls?
      Also must use full email
      If using gmail turn on less secure apps
      Auth set to other

          thanks, i see what the trouble is, the sender name is not the same as the smtp auth log in name, but, i used a different sender name extension on the install thursday IE: escan@tampabay.rr.com/PW ****** Sender was admin@ lake apts.com...
          and it worked,hmmm, so i will change the sender name to**** @tampabay.rr.com... and see if this does it, again thanks
