    [Misc] Bad Printing TASKalfa 2552ci

    Good Day.

Please assist with the following problem I have on a TASKalfa 2552ci.

After a colleague came out to assist with lines on prints, he cleaned the MC of the machine. After putting back the Dk and Dv units the machine started printing solid black and the yellow pages.

I came out and followed SB 2ND-0083 (H239).

I have done firmware and stripped and checked the HV PWB. I have stripped out the drive assy and checked all the charge springs.

    Please find attached

One of the techs here had a pretty similar looking fault, turned out to be HVT.

Looks like the dev units are not seated correctly.

You got this issue on previous models if the white locking bar was not pushed in.

          Good Afternoon Gents/Ladies.

Just to give you guys feed back on this fault.

It was a blown HV PWB. I had to change it as well as all 4 DV units.

please read the post.. a PREVIOUS tech was out then the problem showed.

Like one suggested ( Slim? ) check to make sure the dev units are seated properly.
