[Error Code] C7104 TASKalfa 3252ci

Hi,
I have C7104 on TASKalfa 3252ci (arround 126k), related to DV-Y TC sensor problem.
After take out DV-Y unit, i find that there is no developer and toner inside.
I know that I have to replace DV-Y Unit, but what can explain this. Is there an SB about this isue? If yes, please share it with me.

Reinstalling the developer unit The developer unit is not properly installed. Reinstall developer unit Y so that the connector firmly connects. Developer Unit Replacementand after control drive gear for developer unit Yand then Firmware upgrade.Good luck

I reinstalled it several times. What i can't understand is how there is no developer and tonr inside DV-Y Unit?

The developer section consists of the magnet roller forming the magnetic brush, the sleeve roller forming
the thin layer by replacing the toner, the developer blade, and the developer screw mixing up the toner.
The toner density is adjusted by impressing the bias to the magnet roller and the sleeve roller. The toner
amount inside the developer unit is detected by the toner sensor.

This developing system is a little different from the others that you've seen. There will not be any developer or toner on the developing roller. =^..^=

It's impossible for the toner and developer to pop out from the unit
it should be something wrong with the ID sensor under the Dev-Tank
Or
as been told, unconnected wires for sure bring the code with out of normal range reading for toner quantity

exactly, I confirm everything that has been said by colleagues. Plus there is no technical bulletin on the case in question

Inside DV Unit, there was no toner and developer powder.
I replace DV Unit and all is ok.
