    TA3232

I have a customer that we installed a new TA3232. There old machine was a sharp that they were using overlays for there letter head. Does any one have a suggestion on how to do this on a Kyo?

Not sure if this is what your looking for but on the Kyocera there is a layout/edit tab on the copy screen that has the overlay function on it.
The op guide explains in more detail how this works.
        Hope this helps

I had this worked out on a Saturn in our office years ago. Essentially you scan the letterhead into a special folder on the HDD. When you place your original you select the overlay function, and the appropriate doc. The same worked through the print driver.

Way too complicated to explain in a forum post. Check out the advance users guide. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I think what Im looking for has to do with prescribe commands. The sharp can have a document loaded into the print driver then when selected it prints it on top of the document they are printing.

If the customer is wanting to print a document, and the letterhead is created at the MFP when the document prints then yes, this can be done with Prescibe. Your Kyocera tech. rep. should be able to help you out with that. I have seen it and it is pretty slick.

Yeah it can be done with prescribe but it's awkward to setup.

Try using the KX print drivers Watermark feature, Takes a bit of playing around but it works fine, We have several clients using it.
