8000i fuser fault after opening door

Getting a C6720( fuser ih belt rotation error) every time any of the right side doors are opened and then closed.

Swapped fuser with known good fuser, checked rotation sensor wire harness in fusers(per bulletin), updated firmware, replaced fuser drive motor assembly, checked connection of YC26 on engine pwb, checked for pinched wires, loose connections.

Once the error is reset, the machine will boot, and run hundreds of prints, until it jams, once a door is opened to remove jam, closes the door, the fuser faults. Or even while the machine is sitting at ready, if I open the main large door, or either of the 2 lower doors, once closed, faults.

Also if I press the energy saver button, the machine instantly throws a C6770 (fuser ih low electrical power)

My next steps will be to replace the fuser ih pwb, then the engine pwb.

    Let me know

    Thanks

There is a circuit board on the front of the machine. Check the connectors. I think its called Front PWB

      Overall, I like your choice.

I would also meter out all your doorswitches (not just a service mode test, but a real Ohmmeter). =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Your next step replacements are logical. The C6770 code when going into energy saver mode however would direct me to the engine board.

Fuser IH PWB replacement resolved both issues. Thanks
