    [Jamming] J4101 kyocera 5500i

    hello all,
i have a kyocera 5500i which is jamming with an J4101 error when printing from tray 1 only. tray 2 works fine.
so far, i've replaced the entire conveying unit, new rollers, clean up etc.

    anyone have any ideas?

    thanks,

What counts from what trays? Have you looked at the clutches? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      thanks,
Agree with Blackcat, you probably have a clutch slipping and not providing the proper paper loop for the machine to detect. Since you say it only tray 1 causes the problem it narrows down which clutch to look at. It may be as simple as dis-assemblying the clutch and cleaning it or you may have to replace it.
