    ID Card copy function?

Customer has an FS-8520. ID Card copy function is gone on Favorites Bar. How do I get it back? Did a firmware update, didn't help. Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance, Steve.

Did you mean 021. 02 is for transporting, right?

All it is, is 2 in 1 using Statement R as the original size, copying onto letter. I'll sometimes set it up enlarging it 110-120% as well.
Easy enough to recreate yourself & save. That's how we did it before they made it a factory setting.
        Hope that helps !

NO, sim 02 returns the unit to the factory default settings. {U002 Setting the factory default data} Sim 21 just returns the unit to the settings stored in the non-volatile memory and if a function such as ID card copy has been deleted it will not restore it. There is no sim for transporting. Using sim 002 will mean that the unit has to be setup just like it is being installed for the first time as all network/addressbook settings will be removed.

You can try both. However, I have used 021, a few times, and it did not wipe out the scan to smb setting or the scan to email settings, in the address book, but did bring the mfp back to factory settings.

used 021. ID Card Copy function is back in favorites. Had to reset the ip address. Everything else seems to be fine. Thanks for sharing.
