[Misc] Kyocera FS4020DN printing for the back ( where the fuser unit is)

My problem is, I recently changed the fuser unit in a kyocera fs4020DN but when I try to print something, the print itself is expulsed from the back of the printer (where the fuser unit is).. Instead of printing to the top. What should I do? Thanks everyone

is it set properly for output?
is there a diverter gate for duplex? that gate might not be moving.
post the config page for us to analyze

so it wasn't doing it before the replacement... go back over your work.

Should I remove the new fuser unit and install again? (What should I take care when doing it?) Excuse me but I'm very noob with printers.

There is a solenoid that moves a gate for face up ejection. The face up sheets eject out the rear of the printer into an optional tray that hooks there.

Pull the fuser out and you will see the gate. It points up, you can wiggle it and see how it works. Maybe the solenoid isn't plugged in or there is a breakage.

          1) do you still have the old fuser? Why was it replaced?
          2) compare old n new fusers..
          3) when installing new..are you sure you removed any packing material? tape/paper etc?

yes ANY time you work on something car-boat-printer-copier-stove.. and you have new issues..
          START FROM SCRATCH

It was removed because it was damaged (bad printings and lot of ink on paper). And yeah I installed the new fuser just as the old one. But today I will try again... And see what happens. Thanks

Ok so, I resolved the problem guys. Thanks everyone. What I did was, remove the new fuser unit again, clean the entire thing and put it again. Tried to print something and tadaaa, printing like it should. Thanks everyone again!

more like the installation was the issue.. not cleaning it

any time you go to a machine that was working.. and NOT after your work.. pull everything out and "DO OVER"
