    task alfa 3051ci jam 0131

    I am getting this jam code... 131

    once a day... before I touched it...

    so I did the following

    I replaced the bypass...

    and since customer was reporting various jams...
    I replaced the lct clutch pack and the clutch pack for the paperfeed section...

    since then the code has continued usually in the morning around 10 am according to the event log...

    machine has close to a million prints....

    I am checking if anyone has faced this issue before...

    note customer does not use bypass...
    this is why its so strange...

    and as always any help is appreciated...

      i am getting the
      Manual feed clutch (MPPFCL)
      Middle clutch (MCL)
      Registration clutch (RCL)

      i am also going to update firmware...

      i will let you guys know how it goes...

          turns out issue was in bypass section...
          when machine turns on or comes out of sleep jam would show...
          the bypass assembly was changed but the actual table that the paper rests on is spring loaded and it was triggered...
          so it was snapped all the way to the top...
          so there was no space for paper...
          this triggered a jam state...
          you could open a right side door and close it and the jam would go away...
          but machine would be in error state and it would show up when machine came out of sleep or was restarted...
          my supervisor discovered the issue... and aligned the plate so that it was not triggered.....

              If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
