    Kyocera M3540idn black dsiplay

M3540 has a blank display and the control panel keys will not function. However, it will still function as a printer. Re-seated connections on the board. Am I looking at a main board failure?

Likely just need to reseat the connector for the display. I had one out of the box do that. Wire harness didn't have any wire to spare. I cut a zip tie to free up the wires so the connector stayed put.

You may very well need the touch panel assy. I have replaced one for that problem.

I've had one new out of the box with ribbon cable that had one "finger" peeled back during insertion, and bad colors on display. inspect the ribbon cables for contact deformation.
