Hope everyone is well. Haven't been on the site in quite some time. My tech has been working on a 6501 with a recurring C6100 code. No TB that I could find that addresses the issue. We have changed the fuser on 2 separate occasions. The machine will then work fine for a couple months and then the problem will resurface. Latest F/W, connections are good. Have an 8001i in my shop that also has some 61xx coding issues. Any help appreciated. Also have done the mod on the machine (remove top filters, take out of silent mode, etc.)

Re: CS 6501i recurring C6100 code
I had a KM-7002i that the C6100 was happening every morning at a specific time, and a C6150 every evening like clockwork. Always within 10 minutes of the same time each day, every weekday (not weekends).
What I did was synchronize the clock on the MFP and my power quality analyzer and recorded for 72 hours. Wouldn't you know it, on the exact second that the code occurred there was a serious surge or spike, every weekday.
Do these graphs look familiar? For me it was the power.
The hard part was explaining why MFP #1 had these daily errors, and MFP #2 (right next to it) did not code out. Both lines experienced the timed surges/spikes.

=^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
