[Misc] Kyocera TASKALFA 5052CI Fax Issue..

I have a TaskAlfa 5052CI that calls for paper when a fax is received, locks the machine up and stores all other jobs behind fax jobs. Machine is full of paper, triple checked all the paper settings for faxes. No issues printing, copying, or sending faxes (unless a fax comes in). It receives faxes fine as well, just instantly goes into memory and claims the machine is out of paper when its not. Iv'e replaced the fax board, formatted the SSD and HDD, Initialized the fax board, memory clear and updated the firmware to the current version (4.2 i think) to no avail.
Any thoughts? I'm starting to lean towards a main board or something to do with the SSD

The paper drawers must be set to "Auto" and "inch"

in fax setting change default to reduce

Off Print the received data at 100% of the original size by
dividing it into several sheets of paper.
On Print the received data by reducing the original size
      according to the paper size.

      Reduced Reception
When the reception size is larger than the paper size, you can reduce the print size.
1 Press the System Menu key.
2 Press [FAX], [Next] of Reception, [Next] of Basic,
and [Change] of Reduced RX Size.
      3 Select [Off] or [On].
      4 Press [OK].

Had this issue of a received fax being held on a 4053ci and I needed to change the paper settings for Tray 1 from Letter (the largest paper size that tray accepts, besides A4) to Auto. Voila, the fax printed and was, as it turns out, a normal-looking 8.5x11 image. Seems to be some quirk in the firmware because even with auto reduce turned on (which wasn't, by default), the job was still being held.

Fax prints will only print to trays designated as Auto paper size detection. Any trays "hard set" to a specific size will not print fax receptions. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Good to know. As I suspected - a quirk in the firmware programming/programmers. I mostly know Sharp, and they would never program something so counter-intuitive. Their programming is more adaptive & intuitive. Plus auto reduce and/or a fixed, pre-programmed A4 to letter reduction ratio as defaults, need to be present.
