    Kyocera FS C5030 lines

I have a FS C 5030 that is getting line covering the hole page from top to bottom. If I run black of couse it will be black lines. When I run color it will have lines in every color make for a good raping paper. Have replaced all supplies and both HV boards no fix. Has anyone seen this before?

I attached a sample check it out This is not you normal clean an your fixed problem.

The one we use in our office was pulling black developer. Took it apart & cleaned it a few times & it kept coming back. After replacing the black DV unit, it hasn't come back. We do all of our billing etc. on it so it gets run pretty hard.
    Hope that helps !

How can Kyocera make the best copiers out there and the worst printers?

I guess it's like Panasonic Copiers vs their Panfax's. Go figure.

Have you cleaned the led printheads? Also i've seen broken runs on the cheesy ribbon cables on the drums & dv units. (new ribbon cables come in the Maintenance Kits).

No Doubt! The copiers are great. Simple "no frills" engineering. My company deals in Canon and Kyocera. If you ever worked on a Canon, they make the machine more complicated than it needs to be. I have noticed that the Kyocera printers are a real pain and cost more money to keep them running than what they are worth.
