AT OUR WITS END!!! Got theis machine used from leasing company. Now I know why. I am attaching an image for example. Ive replaced Paper, drum, replaced image corona wire, sep and transfer wires. Rebuilt developer. with no change. Then we got ahold of another machine and I have swapped Power board, HV board, Drive Board, Processing board, and replaced wiring harness that connects to developer, and all corona's off of HV. Swapped fuser. NOTHING I MEAN NOTHING changed it. Any ideas?

Re: Kyocera 4820w (wide Format)
I've seen something like this on a Kip. On the Kip 7170K there are I think 6 different stages in which the motor speed can be adjusted. IIRC it was the fuser motor speed that was wrong, causing the paper to buckle away from the drum in the last 2/3 of the page. The other cause on this same Kip was the incorrect positioning of the right drum bearing holder.

I don't know if this helps you ... =^..^=Last edited by blackcat4866; 07-06-2019, 02:21 AM.If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

I've checked the drum mount several times to make sure the bearings were position correctly. Have not messed with any speeds. The thing that the scanned image is not showing is where the missing print is it puts a half tone of that same shape on the next revolution of the drum. I'll try and scan it in a couple more times in different settings and see if i can get it to pick up in the scanComment

The same as mine, the missing pieces of image show up one drum rotation further down the paper. Its a similar issue.
Using wide paper, any misalignment of the paper will cause the paper to lose contact with the drum, losing transfer.

Re: Kyocera 4820w (wide Format)
I had a simulator problem with a kip many years ago. The toner was being put down so heavy that it was pealing off the paper and being redeposited further down the page. The problem with my machine was that is was very over toned. I am thinking there is not enough pressure on the toner roller on that one side. Or doctor blade, whatever determines the thickness of the toner on the mag roller.Comment
