I will start again this morning. The white plate has no black streaks on it but there is a scratch or cut across it, almost like a knife cut, but it's not in the "exact" area, but close. I will swap that plate from another DP.

swapping the feeder took care of the problem. Didn't see anything on the white plate but a cut, but I guess that was enough....thanks for the input....Comment

I had a similar problem once and it turned out to be a very thin hair stuck in the feeder, almost impossible to notice...Comment

I had the same problem once that turned out to be an imperfection in the slit glass. I couldn't see it but I could feel it by lightly pushing a razor blade across the glassComment
