[Misc] Copying the address book from older machines to new.

Looking for an easy way to copy the address book from older machines to new. 917 works for newer to new. We have tried net viewer but it has been failing almost all the time.

We use the Setup Tool. Run 917 to export to drive, then run Setup Tool to convert to new files on the drive, then 917 to import into the new machine.

When going Kyocera to Kyocera the Setup tool and U917 has always worked for me for the address book. Converting anything else has failed for me. The address books is the most important as it will convert the SMB passwords also.

We always use the setup tool. Easy to do and don't have to have both copiers on at the same time.

This link will not work once they update it again.

Only glitch I've had was converting a 3050ci to a 2553ci. Either the 3050ci is too old now or it was just a glitch but for the life of me I couldn't get it to convert the address book or one touch keys. Only the Job Accounting settings. worked fine with a 5551ci To 5053ci same location.
