    KM4035

Have one of these that was scanning to email fine until the other day when they said they had network issues. It now goes through the motions as if it completed the scan but it never shows up in email. The log on the scanner shows and error 23 or 32. Pretty sure they said 23. Is there a manual that shows these scanning error codes? Don't see it in any of my manuals, but it may be in there somewhere. Thanks!

E023 = The SMTP server is not operating properly.

If the regular email seems to be working OK, I would check that you are configured to the right SMTP IP address or host name.

E032 = During Scan-to-PC operation, the hard drive on the destination computer ran out of available space.

I think it was probably the 23. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

They don't cover this subject very well in most manuals. I also don't have much direct experience with Falcon IIs.

The easiest way to configure the scanner is through the web interface. Look in the scanner defaults for "SMTP address or host name". Sorry I can't be more specific than that. =^..^=

You can find the error codes in the Scan Sys operation guide.
