    web admin kyocera p6035cdn

Welcome. we have another problem. we bought a lease kyocera p6035cdn printer with blocked admin. Standard passwords do not match. I tried to remove the password as in older 5250 models through the kyocera kommand center but fails. what is the other way ? Without this, the machines cannot work at the customer's.

You can reset the admin password back to default with U21 in service mode.

This will wipe the machine so back up the address book first with U917

You surprised me. There is no such menu, you can't do u21. It has to be done somehow.

Might need to research the Prescribe commands for this.

Here is something that we have used on some models that has worked several times for us. Menu>User/Job Account. Login using the default Admin Password. Select Login>Local User List>Admin>Password and then press the edit key. Enter the new password two times and enter that. This will change the password where you can get in to the web interface and make the needed changes. You can then do a factory reset to set things back to factory and all is good. This may not be exactly the same for each model and it may vary from model to model. It is also very similar on the MFP's. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately, this does not work on these models. Any more ideas?
