Running into an issue with trying to Scan to Email at the office. The user interface for the Command Center that I currently am using looks really old compared to the interface that I have viewed on Youtube for assistance on this particular issue. I'm not sure as what to place in the SMTP Server name box. And what are the other settings that I need to change. I have tried several attempts. Failed many times. The users of this forum have much experience in this area, I'm sure. If someone is familiar with this system or this interface, please advise on what I can try. The only thing that I did on the actual machine itself was turn on SMTP. It had been placed on the setting of "off" and I placed it to "On". The office wants to scan numerous documents and currently is using there at desk printers and scanner that are taking huge amounts of time to scan and send. Just trying to speed up the process. Thank you for reading and possibly assisting me in this endeavor.

Re: Kyocera CS 300i Send Error Check the host name of the SMTP Server
SMTP would be the name of the mail server (smtp.gmail.com)
port information
and under other would be user name and password
the problem you have is old machines can't email via ssl or tls.
Get with there IT for the settingsComment

Re: Kyocera CS 300i Send Error Check the host name of the SMTP Server
This machine will not scan to email SSL3. I suggest on a machine this old that you scan to FTP with the Kyocera ScanFile Utility. You'll probably need some IT help doing this. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
