    kyocera P6130/M6535

Has anyone seen an image issue with Kyocera P6130 and M6535, that consists of a foreign matter sticking to the K drum, and resulting in small lines on the prints? I can clean this matter off the K drum with a soft, lint free cloth and a little alcohol, which will resolve the issue. However, this issue will return in as little as two to three weeks. When I remove the toner cartridges, I have noticed small, straw colored, fiber-like pieces, lying on top of the Transfer Belt unit, but cannot say if this is the foreign matter that's sticking to the drum.

Every P6130, and M6535 we have in the field has this issue, give or take. I've not seen any other model have this issue.

Any ideas, suggestions, or input will be welcomed!

    Thanks!

Kyocera has changed the drum cleaning pressure to better clean the drums. New drums will be better. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Has been a problem from the start with this series. Replace the drum and warranty it.

the transfer cleaning section(blade/auger) will likely have contamination in it that's not helping the drums to stay clean. always be suspicious of the transfer in those units.
The drums can be disassembled and cleaned in the auger/blade part without too much difficulty. your mileage may vary as to hos long the repair lasts...
