Question About Copying Secure Check on a 3252ci

I'm coming to you geniuses first because I figure you'd know the answer to this no problem. I have a customer who is interested in purchasing a 3252ci from my company (and I don't have access to it because it's being rented to another customer) and they want to know if it can copy secure checks. This is something I have not messed with much and don't really know how it works, but I have seen a machine refuse to do it.

I appreciate any help, have a great day!

With Ricoh machines, I know you have to Enlarge to 125% or Reduce to like 65%, otherwise it will just come out as a black sheet.
This is true with money, checks, death certificates, etc.

I've found only black and white mode works not greyscale or auto color.

I've had some success by covering the holograms with a sticky note. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

It is illegal to copy any checks, bank notes or passports. This is in the copyright laws.

With that being said, the first thing that you are instructed to do when you get your passport is to make a copy. Microsoft was the same way. Their instructions would say to make a copy of the install disk and use the copy to install the software.

Another option is to scan the check and then reprint it.

I think the Reduce or Enlarge trick that was mentioned should work.
