[Misc] Kyocera FS 2100 - Print Alignment Issue

    Good Morning

A Strange one - although I can see on previous models about Print Alignment where by the Image is printed at the top edge of the page. (i.e) the IMage is put on the paper to early. See examples attached,

Stripped down and cleaned sensors (including paper registration sensor) - my thinking this has worn down potentially or misshaped

Any help would be much appreciated - trying to catch up on workshop work in the COVID 19 lock down.

What happen to printer? Did you do any adjustments? You should never have to adjust margins once factory set.
Paper skew is the only issue look for a stuck label in feed path etc.....

Try using fresh paper, as far as image registration the actuator can wear down over time and cause that and jamming. But I have mostly seen this on high volume printers. Is the image off by the same margin all the time? If it varies replace the clutches and retest, also what condition are the feed /sep rollers in?

I agree on all points. At 1M images the registration flag will nearly be sheared off, the registration clutches rusting, and the registration bushings oval. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
