Can i use a 5500i Document feeder on 5501i ?

I tried to swap them ( i swaped a DP from working 5500i ) to a 5501i which dp was problematic ( when i put paper on it it recogniced them (green light on DP) , when i open a DP cover it recognized it ) but when i try to copy from DP message .. copying appears and blocks. If during this time i open a DP cover , it copies but from glass and paper jam message) . Now i suspect it's the PWB ISC i checked part list and PWB from 5501 has different code from 5500. Can i swap them?
Or if the problem is not PWB any idea?Comment

Did you re-load the firmware?
ANY time you install a different board you must re-load firmware so that there are compatible levels of firmware. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Try running the document processor independently in mode u203

Just to clarify: Kyocera products are unique in defining a "DF" as a document finisher, and a "DP" as a document processor. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
