    F247 Kyocera 3550IDN

    Hi guys,

I have a problem with Kyocera Ecosys M3550IDN. When I turn on machine, i get System Error F247, without posibility to enter Service Mode (10871087).
I tried to upgrate Firmware, but that doesnt helped me. I tried to remove Fax System, but also, I get the same error code. If u have any idea what could be, I appreciated. Best regards.

Does this model have the optional HD-6 or HD-7 installed? If so, remove it/them and see if that resolves the issue.

Disconnect the network cable, then reboot. Does it re-occur? If not, you might have corrupt or non-print data hitting the printers IP address. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I have seen this. The HD is Bad. Format the HD then you will get a HD code C0640

Black cat is right, unplug the network, if the error goes away clear the print que and re-test. I have never seen it be the HDD problem personally, I work in a hospital and I see this error every week, usually its somebody printing from the internet and using a browser to print a PDF instead of using acrobat reader.
