Hi all, experiencing crappy fuser jams try this, works like a charm.
have been struggling with same jams on old and new fuser type for same model
get old fuser, take apart upper fuser section, take out lamp for obvious reasons
remove heat, fuser sleeve from left side of upper fuser, underneath the sleeve you will see a wowen, heat reisitant plastic, shitty pad that causes all the crap of slow belt rotation resulting in said jams
cut it on sides and remove wowen crap pad, youl notice on old type fuser the pad scuffs through on one side prolly due to extreme pressure, pulling rest of padding to one side, after removal of padding you will end up with white like ceramic plastic strip, only goes one way on reassembly, apply liberal amount of copper compound on strip/high heat anti seeze automotive lube or some high temp fuser grease, reassemble whole thing, and problem solved,no more expensive fusers every 40k clicks
on new type fusers, you will see that the pad was completely redesigned, dont remove woven padding, clean up pad, clean inside of fusing sleeve properly, apply said lube of choice on pad, reassemble and woala
it might schmell for a wile, but hey its working like its supposed to,lol
