rotate offset when selecting multiple sets

. When using adf for basic copied sets the copier will display 'rotate offset is selected' asking to load letter r size paper into copier if you continue run 1st set comes out fine, then the copier pauses and displays load letter R paper into mp tray. Customer said copier was working greatin the morning then went to make sets after lunch and problem started. I checked for paper behind cassettes swapped out adf width guide and pcb asembly. Checked and reprogrammed all cassettes for normal size letter. Any ideas thanks everyone. be safe

    hmmmm ...

Nope. I can't guess what model you might be thinking of.

Please tell me that you at least looked at the machine. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

It appears that you or the user has set rotate offset for multiple sets [no finisher] but the cassettes are set to a specific size or are not set to auto. How are the cassettes loaded? Both letter long? With offset selected one tray has to be letter R and one as letter L, otherwise the you will get the message as the unit cannot process the command for offset because it does not have the appropriate page orientation. You do not mention what model we are working on or if there is a finisher installed. Hope this helps.
