5501i scan to email at machine

I don't use these machines. I only rebuild them and repair them.
A customer just asked me if they can scan to an email address that they enter at the control panel.
Not a pre-programmed email address in the address book.
They just want to scan to an email and not save that email address.
Can they do that? Is it possible? If so, how do you do it?
Is it in one of the operation guides? Which one?
I am having trouble finding it in the operation guide.
Help! Please.

Press send
Select Email Address Entry
The full keyboard will be on screen to enter the email address
