300ci , 3101 code on scan to e-mail

    300ci , 3101 code on scan to e-mail

    In the web interface the "test" button shows OK , but scan to e-mail still fails with this code. Latest firmware has been loaded. Any suggestions

      Make sure you have the "from" or "machine address" filled out.

          What email are you trying to setup? This machine does not have TLS 1.2 or 1.3 capabilities, most email providers now require it.

              Copiertec is correct. 3101 is usually an encryption error, which this doesn't support. More than likely, time to upgrade the machine.
