    6053ci with C3200 code

I have a new 6053ci out of the box that is having a constant
C3200 code, The lamp lights and moves into place than it codes.
When making copy they look good quality. When you first turn the
Machine on it will code at C3200, if you turn the machine on with the doc feeder open
It will not code as I think at that point its not checking the white level. Copies
Look good and I ran the u411 chart

Did someone put the scanner lock back on?

I'd recommend going through all the FFC and other connections from the scanner carriage/CCD all the way to the main board. look for distortion on the ends of the flat cable, unplug/replug all.

I know they had a bulletin on that for the 02 series pertaining to the engine board for a bad capacitor and low voltage pwb for a bad fuse. Assuming on the 03 series they changed those? But you never know with Kyo. let us know what you find.

Kyocera told me that if you are having an issue like this to first try re-installing the firmware using the FULL version and not the Turbo. It has solved most all the problems I had, except user receiving corrupt data that they are trying to print.
