Kyocera 3051ci prints blue haze on pages

    Hello everybody,

i have a Kyocera 3051ci which prints a blue haze on every print which is coloured. If it is a black/white copy, this problem does not occure. Example is attatched. I already used the "Drum cleaning" program several times, it didnt effect the problem.

    Thanking you in advance

    Hi,
Have you tried calibration followed by the Tone Curve adjustment ?

Whats the total counter? OEM toners and parts?

Try swapping blue drum with other color.
      Probably worn out drum surface...

-edit- seems to me that repetitive defect indicates dirty/worn out charge roller. anyway swapping the drum confirms that. And new drum comes with new charge roll

If the example you provided is print on LEF it could be a drum problem. But I would not rule out that the Cyan HV is starting to short out if it was print SEF. Toner dusting could lead to the HV intermittently shorting creating a similar pattern.

Thanks to everyone, i will verify if it was printed LEF or SEF, my guess was the drum actually. The total counter is 151065, coloured is 102343. I will let you know what i did and what fixed the problem

That's always scary because it usually magically reappears at some point.
