Client currently has a ta-8001i and we are upgrading them to a ta-8003i next week. They have around 400 job accounting accounts in the machine. Does anybody know if sim 917 will work to export and import. I know it usually has to be the same model machines for this to work. Not sure if there is a way to do an export from sim 917 on the new machine and do a cut a paste of the data from the old machine and then do an import? Just trying to make it easier than having to manually input all the accounts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Re: Copying data from one machine to another
Export with 917. Use the Setup Tool to convert it to the correct model. Import on new machine. Only address book, one touch and account codes will convert. -
Re: Copying data from one machine to another
You can also use KMNET Viewer with Accounting to copy and save as a file. Then reupload to new machine.
If you can put both online you should be able to also transfer the data.
You would have to ask Kyocera if the 917 will work it may use the same language.Comment

Re: Copying data from one machine to another
Hi,
I would appreciate if someone can point me to the setup tool for moving the job accounting or a version of Net Viewer with the Job accounting add-on.
Can't seem to find it, cheers.Comment
