This machine we are not familiar with,first one sold. It is at a accountant and he is printing out tax forms and we can not get it to stop printing in duplex. In the printing menu of the printer itself duplexing is turned off and in the print driver it is off. Is there a way to turn off duplexing so it never duplexes? Customer does not want it to duplex ever. Thanks for any help on this.

The last time I heard this complaint it was a KM-5002i new on setup. The enduser claimed she had changed the default on every computer. When we looked, the driver default was still in-fact at duplex, and she had neglected that little "Apply" button ... on every computer.
I think that I would look for myself. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

When the driver was installed, did you uncheck duplex? If not you need to either go into driver and uncheck duplex printing or uninstall driver and reinstall without checking the duplex/double sided, icon in the same location as the print a test page window.Comment

This turned out to be how the customers accounting software reacted with the print driver. All duplex defaults ect were turned off but it still duplexed. Had to install a old out of date driver to fix the problem. The hp that this machine replaced did not have duplex. We found also that the hp driver worked on this machine also.Comment
