    TA3252ci & IB-51

Connectd an IB-51 wireless card to a TA3252ci. It works as a printer but will not email.
I have switched to use "Optional Wireless card" but still will not work.

When testing an email, I get error 2101.

I logged into the card and set the Maintenance settings for email, but still nothing will come through.

    Any ideas?

You may have done this but check that Primary Network is set to optional network

I don't think that is within the IB-51's capabilities. Why don't you remove the IB-51 and try using the built in wireless for this model (IB-36 type) that has full functionality? I think when you switch the system settings to use the WiFi it is trying to route through the built in WiFi and not the IB-51. The IB-51 web interface is quite wonky and appears to be manufactured by someone other than Kyocera while the built in wireless is all the same CCRX.

I always use a $30 wireless bridge if the short range wireless won't work. The IB-51 has been available for like 6-7 years and hasn't been updated at all.
I've beenusing this one lately and it's pretty good:
        Hope that helps !

          Hi,

          thanks for the messages.
We gave up on the IB 51 and just used a wifi powerline plugin instead.
          Far simpilar.
