    Jam code?
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I'm not familiar with this model but have you checked all the sensors, motors, clutches?

Can you visibly see an area on the paper where it's catching on something?

And you need to find the jam code.

Have had this on a number of occasions and it baffled me for a while. It always happened on the side towards the backside of the feeder. Replaced a few DP's before discovering what caused the issue. What I found was that there was was an obstruction, paper shared, staple etc on the plate below the duplex swing gate. It keeps the swing gate from completely assuming the proper position catching the original on one of the fingers, removing it will solve the issue. What really baffles me is that I have seen the same paper shards and staples on the front side but it does not cause a problem.

It's a half day project. You can basically lift the ADF guts off the frame and flip it over for an inspection. Take notes and don't force anything.

If you've ever had to change that DP frame, you'll know that the feed unit hooks into the base frame, and if not inserted quite correctly will jam on duplex. These are one of my least favorite document processors. =^..^=

Thanks for the response. Took apart DP again and thoroughly inspected. Assembled with care. Still same problem

                Jam code is 9004

There was a couple of bulletins for this feeder. They changed the roller assy and the top cover also.

Presume that you have checked that paper doesn't stop at any obstacle and paper follows the correct path (meaning when it pulls out and in paper) . Then repalce paper exit sensor
