Hey all, I have a P6130 which was loaded with generic toners. When I went to replace some drums, it went fine. But after replacing the drums, I noticed the cyan toner was stuck in the machine. The locking lever on the right would move ok but you could not pull the toner out.
I returned with an OEM toner, pried the cyan toner out forcibly, but the new toner would not go in. I removed the right side cover and high voltage board, and realigned the gears for the cyan drive. The new toner slid in at that point. However, when that toner ran out and the customer went to change it, it was stuck too. I'm sure I could realign the cyan toner drive gears but I assume it would just fail again. There are no missing or worn teeth on those gears, that I can see.
I am at a loss, I have never delved into one of these this deeply before. The customer has a loaner now and their p6130 is sitting at my office. We have another p6130 here for parts but it is down with a laser motor code.
Thanks for any help
