Kyocera Job Accounting - Import / Export

Question? Can you import a Job Accounting list from one Kyocera machine to another? Never did this and do not see a Import/Export button.

    Thanks

This can be done via Net Viewer and also via U917 using the Setup Tool.

You have to add the accounting module to KM Netviewer on install as an option

Should have added, trying to do it by Remote as the machine is 50 miles away.

Used to work on Canon's and they have a import/export feature for the address book. Just did not know if that could be done by remote for the Job Accounting on the Kyocera.

            Thanks

You can pull a 917 through KFS. Just have to get the customer to hit yes on copier.

Run the KNV installer and there will be an option to add it.

MM917 will not exchange files between different models (diff series or CvsBW). The files can be converted using the SetupTool.

Netviewer requires you to be on-premise or VPN.

Kyocera Device Manager will be replacing KM-Net Viewer but at last check does not have Multi-Set for Accounting yet.

Yea 917 is worthless for this. I couldn't even transfer addressbook from from a 306ci to a 308ci. It's basically just to back up that machine in case you need to reload info.

The Setup Tool(from downloads section of portal) converts the user info, job accounting, and full address book between device models for exactly this purpose. It can also edit address books directly. Use the "convert" menu option, point to a source folder containing u917 data, pick a destination model, then pick a destination folder for output. Place output files in root of a stick, u917 on destination machine, choose first four buttons: address bk, job acct, one touch, user. boom, done!
