    Kyocera P3155dn Adding Toner Issue

    Hi guys

We are having a strange issue were some of our P3155dn printers are not adding toner to the developer. I checked and found that the toner motor does not turn on hence the developer is not filling up with toner.

As per our tech, he swapped out the high voltage, developer unit, engine and power supply but this issue still persists.

We are using compatible toners in 100+ printers in our organization but so far only came across this issue on 3 printers.

So if anyone has some idea's or a solution, I would really appreciate.

    Thanks guys.

      hi,
the toner motor is on the drum unit.
are you sure the white gear is turning?
which type toner are you using?
      best regards.

Yes the toner motor is on the right side of the drum unit assembly. We have swapped out the motor as well (another complete drum, dev unit). The gears are fine and we are using TK-3190
