    Kyo P6230 "Check the toner container"

    Client asked us to look at his machine. It comes up with "Check the toner container". Thinking it was a waste toner bottle issue which they emptied and put back in the machine
    with the neck of the bottle covered in toner. I put in a brand new waste toner bottle. Restarted the machine and stil comes back with "Check the toner bottle"

    Anyone have any ideas.

      It can display "Check toner container." (toner cartridge), it can display "Check waste toner box." (full waste box), or it can display "Check waste toner cover." (door concealing the waste box). There is no message "Check the toner bottle." Can you clarify which message you saw?

      Can I assume that installing a new waste box did not change the message? Can I assume that the old waste box had been overfull, then emptied?

      Sorry, need more information, like what color toner requested, or if it was a waste box, or if there was any evidence of poorly developed color prints (usually sitting on the printer, or nearby). =^..^=

      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
