    Kyocera P6230CDN "Check the toner container". issue

    Client asked us to look at his machine. It comes up with "Check the toner container". Thinking it was a waste toner bottle issue which they emptied and put back in the machine
    with the neck of the bottle covered in toner. I put in a brand new waste toner bottle. Restarted the machine and stil comes back with "Check the toner bottle"

    Anyone have any ideas.

    This is a message about the toner bottle, not the waste toner bottle. From memory, these are iffy at the best of times, moreso with non OEM toner. I'm guessing the printer shows "Adding toner" and then shows "Check the toner bottle". If so, the printer thinks there is toner in the bottle but the toner density in the dev unit is falling.

    Remove all toners and check that they can actually supply toner, next remove the transfer unit and check that there isn't a blockage in the toner path, then remove the devs and check for blockages and/or broken drive mechanism.

      check toner lock from each cartridge. have had broken gear for toner drive. Gear idle.pdf

        it looks like old Gemini issue, Mebius has diff. container lock, but same problem.
        Switch behind main hvt wouldn`t touched in case of 1 not correct locked cartridge.
        remove main hvt and check small white switch push in lower left corner from frame. B081_2KW_0024_SB.pdf
