[Error Code] Kyocera P3155dn - "Unknown Toner installed. PC"

Hi Guys

We have a P3155dn printer with message "Unknown Toner Installed. PC". This is a first time for me seeing this exact message.

In our organization we use generic toner and we never had this message before. I installed an original but still the same issue.

Before digging in to troubleshoot any further, has anyone else experienced this or solve this issue ?

Okay...So I just took a chance and swapped the eeprom with a known good one and error went away. This is the 3rd P3155dn with an eeprom related error that we found.

Generic Toner Chips can be dodgy so it may not be your machine. Send it back to the vendor as it was not working.
