I have a clients machine which be he bought in an auction.The machine need to input the account id to access functions. Is there any way to clear the stored ids so that can use the machine.

Service mode 21 memory clear should reset that for you

Pretty old and I do not remember the login for this unit.

2 things to try:
1) Go to System Menu,then find Job Accounting/User Login. Login using Device Admin code or userame:Admin , password:Admin and turn off Accounting/User login
2) Enter 1087 1087 and go to MM024 and look for HDD format. Execute to remove user data.
