[Error Code] Kyocera 3553ci LSU Cleaning Motor (c4600 error)

Hello everyone,

I'm currently experiencing an issue with a Kyocera 3553ci that keeps showing a C4600 error. It also makes a loud clicking noise, so it seems like the motor is basically locked up. I looked up the error code, which points to a problem with the LSU Cleaning Motor.

I've removed the LSU, and all the gears seem okay. The cleaners slide perfectly by hand without issues, but I can’t understand why the gears won’t turn when I try. I also removed the gears from the motor, and the motor spins freely by hand. I'm considering disconnecting the motor altogether, but I wanted to check here first for any advice or suggestions.

take care for waste toner drive motor!
Both. LSU cleaning motor and waste toner drive motor get 24V by YC27/ pin7, 8 from engine pwb.
Have had several cases with C4600 because of broken WTB motor.
The WTB motor breaks down the 24V circuit....

I found a temporary fix. For some reason, the LSU motor still works but makes a lot of noise, so I swapped it with the waste toner motor. I can see it’s working but still making noise, so I ordered a new motor. Thanks again, guys!
