Slightly different question today.

Does anyone here have their ear to the ground as such and know if a new generation of A3 TASKalfa is on its way soon? e.g 2555ci?

We have a few clients that currently have 2554ci's and they are rapidly aproaching end of contract and would be nice to know if/when a new model is arriving as it is always a bit odd "upgrading" these clients to the same device.

I can get new Bizhub 251i but would rather stay Kyo to keep my service pipeline simple.

We're in the exact same boat here. Our rep said to expect a new A3 model around Fall of 2025. Three year leases are great, but only when there's a new product to replace it with three years later. Otherwise, like you said you're stuck trying to sell them a machine they already have. Most of the printer line has changed recently, so I do expect a new A3 at some point this year.

Ah, thank you very much for this. It is likely these upcoming customers will happily extend until the new models are available, just good to have a potential time frame.
