    KM-6030 Dead Document feeder

    Hi

    I got a KM-6030 where the document feeder seems totally dead. Ive checked all wires wich seemed ok.

    Anyone whos had the same problem? Any suggestions would be nice

    Have you performed a reset-disable? Sim 906?

      Once you've done the 906 reset, get out your VOM and check for the standard voltages to the DP controller, typically +5vdc, & +24vdc (check your schematic for test points and voltages).
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

        Im quite new to this so no I havnt performed a reset-disable
        Gonna try this out

            I had to replace the doc feeder cable on one of these before. I can't remember how expensive it was, but it might be a cheaper way to diagnose as opposed to a board.
