Command Center Scan To Email Settings

I went to look at a 5054 for a scan to email issue. Ran the test from the command center and got a 3201 error code. Typed the smtp account password in manually and tested and it worked again. Cool. Went to hit the submit button and then I get a pop up box that says
*IP Address* Says Select the Item
    With an OK button.
No Idea what to do with that. I tried another machine at the same location and had no issue hitting submit. Anybody run into this box before?

Weird. Never seen that. What level firmware? What sort of email account are you using? (Gmail, O365, other) I’m assuming DNS etc is set?

I did try using a different email account but that doesnt seem to be the issue. The command center just simply will not let you hit the submit button to change anything. I'm not sure what happened as we set the machine up with it to begin with. Maybe I will see if I can update the password a different way?? maybe the Net Tool or KFS

Have you tried a different web browser or cleared the cache on that one.

              Have you
Tried those mail settings in a different machine or on a different site?
You can enter smtp details and password etc thru KFS. You need to type the password manually or copy paste from notepad
if that don’t work, Id probably back this up via U917 and KNV and do a U21 and leave all network settings DHCP including DNS and try email again. If that works try making your changes one at a time
if it doesn’t work, take it to the top floor and roll it over the side…..just a suggestion 😂

Yeah when I try these on another machine it works fine. I was able to adjust it through kfs so it's working now. But I may reset the machine to see if it goes away later.

Sounds like a glitch in the matrix. Blow it away, re do firmware with skip file deleted, try again. Good to know it’s working. I love KFS. 👍

I had a 3011 that refused to scan to email with STARTLS/SSL. U917, then U021. I restored only the address book and all the other settings were manually set including all network info.
                    Worked fine after that.
