    [Error Code] Kyocera 5053ci C2840 & C6610

Hello yall, before I start working on this copier I wanted to make sure I do it right this time around and not mess up.

I have attached a few things in the pdf, color sample, color smudge print 1 (happens every few print if color is being printed), event log, test print with creased page (this happens once every few prints) and a status page (356k total print)

compressed Combined samples.pdf - Google Drive

So I am positive this needs the MK-8525B because of the color samples and that I read somewhere that these drums last up to 200k and we are quite over that now.

I looked through these post to give me an idea on how to work on this , I also have a video down below for the noise it makes.

I'm not too sure what exactly the problem but is it the gear that is having an issue?
The sound is making is like it's having a hard time picking up the paper or some sort of gear not turning properly.
I notice as I open tray one there are paper still afloat, like it has picked up, but then drop back down.

If it seems like the gear, what sort of lubrication would I need to purchase?

I am hoping you guys can guide me through this process and thanks again.

That print sample definitely charge rollers. Get a lint free cloth wet with glass cleaner or water and clean the surface. Mk usually 600k so I'd think your drums will be fine.

Color belt samples are DV units. You more than likely need a fuser for the creases. Drums are good for 600k and usually make the life.
      Hope that helps !

Paper creases with C2840 could be 1 of 3 things.

        1) Fuser needs to be replaced
        2) Discharge Needle Unit needs to be cleaned or replaced
        3) Discharge sheets need to be applied to the discharge plate. and/or the discharge plate is dirty.

        See this bulletin#:
        QA_J049_2ND_0128_SB_rev.1

In the event log, there's quite a few J501 jams. And the noise you recorded sounds like the feed rollers are laboring picking up the paper. You may just need to install a new pickup/feed/sep roller in tray 1 to get rid of the noise

One of your examples has the color test pattern for calibrations at the very top. I've seen a few of these machines do this. If it doesn't go away on it's own, either need to reseat the primary transfer belt cleaning blade (and vac the waste auger while you're there), or replace the entire belt.

Your u89 printouts look like either developer unit or charge roller problems. If there are NO bumps on the charge rollers, you can just clean them (I use simple green, and I make sure to immediately wipe it dry). If there are bumps, cleaning it will buy you time, but not much time. they will need to be replaced.

        I hope this helps!
