    TA 5054 DF-7140 DoA

    Howdy folks,

    Brand new right out of the box 4k finisher loaded. Won't do anything. Throws a Jam 7900 then a error code.

    We have seen in this order:
    C8410 Punch Slide
    C8150 DF Tray 2 (Big tray) not moving
    C8260 DF Middle motor HP detection error
    C8140 DF Tray 1 (Big tray not raising)
    C8130 DF Shift Release motor error

    We unplugged the punch and the mail bin with no result. Customer is taking 2 identical machines. We swapped the finishers around and it powers up so it's not a AK or machine fault.
    We swapped the finisher main board and that didn't help either.
    Nothing works in U240

    Anyone seen something similar to this?

      Just a update, we swapped the boards back and put the machines side by side to check U241. Front door switch wouldn't change states when opening the front door. When we put the board back they plugged the punch in. I unplugged the punch and restarted and now it's working. I plugged the mail bin back in and the punch. Everything is working properly.

      Ive been wiggling wire harnesses while its running and can't recreate this issue. I dunno!

          We have had stupid unknown errors coming from the fu***** punch pwbs.
          Replace it and system will work without any problems in future.
