We have a customer with 1- CS-308ci and 2-CS-406ci. Outgoing email is set up using an office 365 account. The 308ci is working fine but the 406ci are only intermittently. I feel it is an office365 security issue, but was wondering if anyone else has found the same experience.

Re: smtp with Office 365
It's my understanding that ONLY TLS 1.2 can be enabled plus all available hashes, and all lesser TLS and SSL must be disabled in order to have success with Office 365.Comment

Re: smtp with Office 365
Are you sharing the email FROM address? 365 has an issue with this sometimes, something about 2 IPs using the same address flags something internally causing it to send the email into quarantine (Gray listing). This can usually be addressed and fixed in the o-365 admin panel. It will hold email for a period and then release sometimes as well, this might explain the intermittent working. Could be sending certain scans to Junk email (doubtful) but worth checking to be thorough, if so just allow to trusted sender list.“First comes smiles, then lies. Last is gunfire."Comment

Allo every one ,
Is there any of this solution that worked.
I have a similar problem. Ta-3253ci scans well with office 365 and in the same office, 4 m2040dn with the same configuration does not scan in o365.
Thank you !Comment

Hi
I already gave the solution.. You must update the firmware on the device to the latest version and you must enable the correct TLS Settings.Comment
