Trying to replace the Kyocera Taskalfa CS 6004i – Transfer Connect PWB

As the title says, I am trying to replace that PWB on a Taskalfa CS 6004i. I cant seem to find how to replace it on the manual. Does anyone have experience with this part? Im still kind of new.

The front of the machine needs to be taken off.

Yeah... I went for a "blank spot down middle of prints" ticket, and I inspected the drum, and then the belt. When I put the belt back, it gave error 1950 and turns out the blank spot was due to the white reference roller in the ADF, which I haven't encountered before.

Ah man. I feel your pain. At least now you know to run a U000 -> LLU report before you start anything image wise.

Customers always say it is printing only, then you do some digging and find out that prints are perfect and their ADF backside CIS glass and Roller are compeltely covered in dirt.

As for the PWB, you may have damaged the pins on the connector that the ITB unit plugs into. You have to treat that connector as if it was made of glass. When you are re inserting the ITB you must make sure it is correctly slotted into the guides and do not use any force whatsover, it should just glide in.

You may get away with using the nib of a mechanical pencil to straighten the pins but I would advise ordering the part in case of the worst.

As for the dissasembly, If you follow the steps for 4-6 Detaching Waste Toner Box Unit you should be able to get to the part once you reach the step that involves removing the "front container unit"

I did that one, slammed the belt back into the machine and bent the pins on the transfer belt. Fortunately we could straiten them.

Now it's carefully push it back in
